| Situated
in New Quay, North Clare, Ireland. A peaceful location in the Burren region
on the shores of Galway Bay with stunning sea views.
New Quay is midway (6 miles/10 km) between the popular sea front villages of Ballyvaughan, Co. Clare and Kinvara, Co. Galway. Both villages offer a range of restaurants and old style pubs with regular traditional music. It is also possible to purchase a memory of your visit from one of the local gift shops. New Quay is a ideal base for a country break at any time of the year with many tourist attractions on your doorstep such the mystical Burren National Park, Ailwee Caves, Cliffs of Moher, Lahinch and Doolin. Enjoy a day trip to the rugged grandeur of Connemara with spectacular scenic drives or have a day of adventure by taking a ferry from Doolin to discover the Aran Islands and relive the Ireland of yester years with Irish speaking natives and impressive scenery. Alternatively there is a championship golf course in Lahinch, which also boasts a long sandy beach and the recently developed indoor swimming complex of 'Splash World'. New Quay itself offers leisurely seashore walks or if you feel like a challenge take to the Burren hills to splendour the views. You can also enjoy a swim at the small sandy beach within a stones throw of 'Rhodesia Lodge' or take a short stroll to Linnanes Lobster Bar and sample some of the local seafood over a pint of the black stuff.
